In this article, you will learn how to perform “Quick Intake” on an order, giving you the ability to fully intake an order fully at a later time.

To get started, login to your Cents Employee Application.

Following your customer selection during the order creation flow, you now have the option to “Intake later.” This allows the employee to create an order while deferring the actual intake process to later. This way users can come in, identify themselves, indicate the number of bags, update any notes/preferences as needed, and mark the order as ready for intake.

To get started, enter in the customer information associated with the order, and then click “Intake later.”

Once you have clicked “Intake later,” you will be asked to fill out the order details of this particular order.

Once you have entered in the bag & hanger information, preferences & special instructions, storage location, and due date, click “Submit order” to proceed.

Upon order submission, bag labels will print from your connected label printer or your receipt printer, allowing you to identify the bags with the order number, customer name, and total number of bags and hanger bundles.

When you are ready for intake, click into the order from the active order drawer. This order will be labeled “Ready for intake.” You will then see the “Ready for intake” screen and can now “Confirm and start intake.”

Next, you will build the order by adding the necessary services, order weight, products, and complete intake by clicking “Complete intake.”
