Allow employees to manage inventory at the POS.

To allow an employee permission to update inventory counts, turn on the “Manage inventory at the POS” under “Roles & Permissions” on the team member’s profile in the Cents Business Manager.

Once permission has been granted, employees will now be able to access the “Inventory” area of the Cents Store Application. Login to the Cents Store Application and navigate to the “Inventory” tab from the hamburger menu.

There is now an option to “Adjust” an inventory item in this list.

To do so, click “Adjust” on the right hand side. Input the reason for the adjustment. The reason chosen will determine which fields populate below.

Once the adjustment fields are filled out, click “Save adjustment.”

After the adjustment is saved, it will appear in the inventory log for this item.

To view these adjustments over a given time period, run the “Inventory Adjustments” Custom Export under the “Reports” section of the Business Manager.
