Add/Reload Laundroworks Cards from the Cents Employee App

Written by Sivan Salem
Updated this week

Employees can now add or reload Laundroworks card funds directly from the Cents Employee App — no VAC (Value Add Center) required. This is especially useful as a backup when your VAC is unavailable, so reloads can continue without interruption.

How to Reload a Card

  1. From the Employee App home screen, tap Add Funds

  2. Select or search for the customer

  3. Choose a payment method

  4. Enter the reload amount

  5. Complete the transaction — a receipt will print automatically

Supported Payment Methods

  • Credit card terminal

  • Manual card entry

  • Card on file

  • Cash

  • Credits / Rewards

  • "Other" payment method

Note: Cash card payment is not supported in this release.

Requirements

  • Your business must have an active Laundroworks integration with Cents. This feature is not available for Cents-only operators.

  • This feature needs to be enabled by the Cents team. If you don't see the Add Funds button on your home screen, reach out to support.

How It Shows Up in Reports

Reload transactions are fully tracked and reported:

  • Appear as "laundroworks reload" in the Payout Report

  • Get their own row in the Payments Export

  • Surface in the Payments by Payment Method Report and Sales Summary Report under "Cash Card Reloads"
