Cents Ads is an add-on to Cents Accelerate that lets you track your Google and Meta advertising performance end-to-end, right from your Cents Business Manager. See impressions, total visitors, revenue attribution, and return on ad spend (ROAS), all in one place, without needing to configure Google Tag Manager from scratch.
Who is Cents Ads for?
Cents Ads is designed for operators who run online pickup and delivery orders through Cents Dispatch. Currently, Cents Ads tracks conversions for online pickup and delivery only. It does not track in-store orders, drop-off, wash and fold, or self-serve laundry.
If you currently run ads but send traffic to a website not connected to your Cents pickup and delivery flow, we recommend continuing to work with a marketing agency for that tracking.
What you'll need before getting started
A Google Ads account (and/or a Meta Ads account)
Google Tag Manager set up and connected in your Cents Business Manager under Integrations (see below)
A Cents website or another website with your pickup and delivery link
Step 1: Connect your Google Ads account
In your Cents Business Manager, go to Marketing.
Select the Ads tab.
Click Connect next to Google Ads.
Sign in with the Google account associated with your Google Ads.
Review and accept all requested permissions. Cents needs these to pull your ad performance data.
Important: During the authorization flow, look for a checkbox that grants Cents permission to access your ads account. If you miss this step, your ad data will not populate. If you realize later that this wasn't checked, log in to your Google Ads account, go to your account settings, and enable that access from there.
Step 2: Link your specific ads account
If your Google account has more than one Google Ads account connected to it, you'll need to select the right one.
After completing the Google sign-in, click Link Account in Cents Business Manager.
This sends a confirmation email to the address associated with your Google Ads account.
Open that email and complete the second authentication step.
Once confirmed, your account will show as linked and your ads performance data will begin to appear.
Step 3: Install the tracking snippet
To see revenue attribution (not just clicks and impressions), Cents needs to track what happens after someone clicks your ad and lands on your website. This requires a small tracking snippet installed through Google Tag Manager.
First, confirm your Google Tag Manager is connected:
In Cents Business Manager, go to Integrations.
Find Google Tag Manager and make sure your GTM ID and website URL are filled in.
If you use a Cents website: this should populate automatically once you've connected GTM.
If you use a different website platform: you'll need to enter your GTM ID and URL manually.
Then, install the tracking tag:
In the Ads tab, click Install Tracking.
Copy the script that appears.
Log in to Google Tag Manager (tagmanager.google.com).
Click New Tag.
Give it a name, for example, "Cents Ads."
Click into the tag configuration box and select Custom HTML.
Paste the script.
Under Triggering, set it to fire on All Pages.
Click Save.
Click Submit to publish your changes.
Why this matters: If the tracking snippet is not installed and published, revenue attribution in your Cents Ads dashboard will show zero, even if your ads are running and getting clicks. The snippet is what connects ad clicks to actual orders placed through your Cents pickup and delivery flow.
What you'll see in the Ads dashboard
Once everything is connected and your ads are running, your dashboard will show:
Impressions — how many times your ad was seen
Total visitors — how many people clicked through to your site
Revenue — revenue attributed to customers who came through your ads and placed an order
ROAS — return on ad spend, calculated automatically
Campaign breakdown — view performance per campaign
Connecting Meta Ads
Meta Ads can also be connected from the same Ads tab in Cents Business Manager. The setup flow is similar to Google Ads. Click Connect next to Meta and follow the on-screen steps.
