Cents gives you the ability to add your team & employees to both elements of the Cents platform: the business manager, and the in-store tablet application / POS. However, how do you differentiate access between these platforms?

Once you create a new team member in the Cents Business Manger, you'll be able to define their permissions as follows:

  • No Manager Access - This is the default setting for all new team members added to Cents, and gives the team member access only to the Cents in-store/tablet application:

  • Manager - Marking a team member as a Manager will give them access to the "Laundromats" section of the Cents Business Manager, but more specifically, only showing information related to the stores & locations to which they are assigned. They will receive an email prompting them to set a password in order to access Cents.

    For example:

    • You have 10 locations on Cents, and your district manager manages 4 locations.

    • You will assign this District Manager to the 4 locations they manage.

    • When the District Manager logs into Cents and accesses "Laundromats," they will ONLY see information pertinent to those 4 store locations.

  • Admin Access - Marking someone as an administrator will grant them access to BOTH the "Admin" and "Laundromats" section of the Cents Business Manager. They will have exactly the same access that the owner of the account has, except updating the connected bank account.

  • Driver App Access - Marking someone as a Driver will grant them access to the Cents Driver App. After you have preformed the driver setup process, they will be able to complete any pickup and delivery route through the Driver App.

  • Inventory permissions - Turning on the "Manage inventory on the POS" permission for a team member grants them access to manage and update inventory on the Cents POS.

  • Void and Refund permissions - Turning on the void and refund orders toggle grants this employee access to perform both of these actions. This employee can now refund or void any order that is processed on the Cents POS.
