In order for your employees to be able to utilize Cents' in-store tablet application, you'll first need to add them as a team member. To do so, you’ll need to navigate to the "Team" section of your Admin console.
Click the plus sign (+) in the top right and you'll see a wizard appear on the right-hand side which will require you at minimum, to add your employees first name and last initial.
2. After that, it will require you to enter their email address, and click next. If you don’t have this employee’s email information, it’s okay to make the email fake as long as they’re not an admin.
3. Next, create a unique employee code for them. Please note this number will be used by the employee to check in to the Cents application, and anytime they take action on the tablet. We recommend making it the last four digits of your employees phone number or social security code–whatever is easiest for them to remember.
4. Next, assign your employee to the relevant location(s).
5. Determine what permissions your relevant employee will get. If they need access to anything beyond the Cents in-store tablet application, you can toggle on the relevant authorizations for them, which are explained in more detail below:
Manager: Marking a team member a Manager will give them access to the "My Stores" section of the Cents Business Manager, but more specifically, only showing information related to the stores & locations to which they are assigned. They will receive an email prompting them to set a password in order to access Cents.
Admin: Marking someone as an administrator will grant them access to both the "My Stores" and "Admin" section of the Cents Business Manager. They will have exactly the same access that the owner of the account has, except updating the connected bank account.
Inventory Manager: Marking someone as allowed to manage inventory will permit that employee to access the inventory tab of the app and make the relevant updates there.
Driver App: Marking someone as a driver will create them a driver profile for the Cents driver app. Their credentials will be based off the mobile number you supply here:
To archive a team member, simply click into the team members name and then into the three dot menu in the top left corner. Click "Archive Team Member."
