In this article, you will learn how to assign a device to a machine in the Cents Business Manager.

To get started, login to your Cents Business Manager and click into the “Machines” section under “My Stores.”

Next, click into the orange icon that shows how many unpaired devices you have. In the example below, it would be the “16 unpaired devices” that displays next to the washers and dryers toggle. This notification indicates that you have 16 devices assigned to your location, but have not been paired to a machine.

Please note that these machines are uploaded on the backend.

Once you click in, you will see the list of unpaired devices.

From here, you can either “Pair to existing machine” if your machines have already been created in the Business Manager, or “Set up connected machine” if you do not have a machine already set up. If you pair to an existing machine, you will see the option to choose from a list of offline machines.

Once you choose the machine, you will need to choose the manufacturer and machine name/number. Proceed by clicking “Next.”

To set up a connected machine, click into the “Set up connected machine” in the top right corner of the device screen.

From here, you will also need to enter in the manufacturer and the machine name/number.

Proceed by clicking “Next.”

Next, you will need to configure the device pricing and settings. This can be done on the manufacturer’s backend or on the machine itself. This cannot be configured on Cents. Cents will read this information once it has been set up.
