How to Set Up a Membership

To set up a membership on Cents, click into “Promotions” under the Admin tab.

From here, click into “Memberships.”

Click the “+” button in the top right to start creating a plan.

Enter in a plan name and description. These will both be visible to the end customer on their online ordering link.

Set the terms and pricing settings by entering in the frequency that benefits are allotted and how much a customer pays for the allotment period. Payment can be made either per allotment or upfront. For example, a parent pays $599 upfront for a quarter of laundry services for their new student and receives a 30% discount.

Next, set up which stores this membership plan applies to. Additional settings can be enabled to offer more optionality, such as enabling customers to self-sign up on their online ordering link and the option to use a custom pricing tier for members on this plan.

Click “Save” to finalize this membership settings.

Beyond the settings above, a full service benefit will need to be added to the plan in order to enroll in the specific plan services.

Click “Add a Full Service Benefit” to continue.

Next, fill in the benefit name, discount and applicable services for this plan.

If these benefits can rollover, simply toggle on the setting to allow benefits to roll over to the next time period. In addition, note if the rollover services expire and if this is a one time benefit on sign-up.

Click “Save” to finalize this membership plan.

The plan and its details will now be visible under the list of memberships.
