How to Add and Delete Time Cards

You can now quickly create, edit, and delete employee time cards directly from the Time Cards page. This update helps you correct missed check-ins, remove duplicate or incorrect entries, and maintain accurate payroll hours — all without leaving the time card table.

This article walks you through the new Add Time Card action, time-overlap validation, and the updated actions menu for editing and deleting time cards.


➕ Adding a Time Card

A new Add Time Card button has been added to the Details section of the Team page.

To add a new time card:

  1. Go to Time Cards in the "Team" section of your Cents Dashboard.

  2. Click Add Time Card.

  3. Enter:

    • Check-In Date & Time (required)

    • Check-Out Date & Time (optional)

  4. Click Save.

The new time card will appear immediately in the table.


🗂️ Editing Time Cards

Time card actions have moved into a new three-dot menu on each row.

To edit a time card:

  1. Find the time card you want to update.

  2. Click the ⋮ (three-dot menu) on the right.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. You’ll be taken to the existing Edit Time Card screen.

  5. Update the time card and save.


🗑️ Deleting Time Cards

You can now delete time cards directly from the table using the actions menu.

To delete a time card:

  1. Click the ⋮ (three-dot menu) next to the time card.

  2. Select Delete.

  3. A confirmation window will appear showing:

    • Employee name

    • Check-in date & time

    • Check-out date & time

  4. Click Yes, delete to permanently remove the time card.

Important: Deleted time cards cannot be recovered.
