If you’ve noticed Laundryheap orders in your system or have questions about how Laundryheap works, this page is here to help.

Below, you’ll find answers to common questions about who Laundryheap is, how customers place orders, how these orders appear in Cents, and who to contact when support is needed.

  • What is Laundryheap?

    • Laundryheap is an on-demand laundry and dry cleaning service. Customers schedule a pickup through their website or app, a driver collects the items and brings them to a local cleaning facility, then delivers them back to the customer — all within 24 hours. Laundryheap Founded in 2014 in London, they now operate in 18 countries and partner with carefully selected local cleaning facilities to keep transport to a minimum.

  • How did they get my contact information?

    • Laundryheap sources partner facilities through a combination of local business searches, Google Maps/public listings, and outreach to laundromats and dry cleaners in the markets they enter. They actively recruit cleaning partners, promising to handle all customer service, deliveries, marketing, technology, and sales on the facility's behalf. If your business is publicly listed (Google, Yelp, etc.), that's most likely how they found you.

  • Is Cents partnered with Laundryheap?

    • As of today, there is no direct partnership between Cents and Laundryheap. Cents and Laundryheap are working together to ensure Laundryheap processes have a positive impact on operators through additional customers and order volume.

    • However, Cents and Laundryheap are exploring a direct integration to make order fulfillment seamless for operators on our platform. Stay tuned for more details.

  • How are customers scheduling through Laundryheap? Finding them online?

    • Customers book entirely through Laundryheap's app or website — they select pickup/delivery dates, choose services, and add special instructions. Laundryheap handles the entire customer-facing experience including scheduling, payment, and communication. The customer never books through you directly — they only know you as "a local partner facility."

  • Why are they scheduling with them vs. me?

    • A few reasons: Laundryheap has strong app-based discoverability, marketing spend, and brand awareness in certain urban markets. They've built a strong reputation for convenience, real-time tracking, which attracts customers who may never think to search for your specific store.

    • The upside: these are likely net-new customers who discovered laundry delivery through Laundryheap's platform — not customers who would have otherwise booked directly with you.

  • Am I losing money on this? Is Laundryheap taking a cut?

    • No, you are not losing money on this. You get the same amount as you would with a normal order. Laundryheap charges their customers a surcharge for scheduling with them

  • How do I get in touch with Laundryheap if there is an issue with an order?

    • Reach out directly to Laundryheap's support team at [email protected]. They handle all order-related issues on the facility's behalf.

  • How will I know an order is Laundryheap?

    • For now, Laundryheap orders will appear in your system with the customer name “Laundryheap Order” and a phone number of (302) 496-3789.

    • Cents and Laundryheap are working on the ability to identify Laundryheap orders uniquely within the employee app and business manager, making them even easier to spot at a glance. Stay tuned for more information!
