How to Enable Service Fees for All Transactions

Learn how to set up default service fees which will apply to all future orders!

You now have the ability to set a default service or convenience fee to apply to all future product and service orders in Cents. This is an amazing way for you to offset a portion of your credit card transaction fee to your customers, or simply account for overhead costs associated with your orders.

This feature is opt-in, meaning you will have to manually enable it in order to use it.

To get started, go to the "Settings" tab on your Cents Business Manager Admin portal:

Scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the new "Service Fee" option, and turn it on by clicking on the grey toggle icon:

Once enabled, you'll see a field called "Fee Amount" where you will be required to enter a fee percentage amount to be added to all transactions moving forward. Please note, you can always remove the service fee at point of sale:

Now that we've added the service fee in our account settings, all future orders will automatically have this service fee added during checkout. If you need to remove it, you can simply click on remove:
