The Service fee on Cents can be set up in the Account Settings of the Business Manager.

This service fee can either be turned on or off for every transaction on the POS, and is fully customizable. You will determine what percentage the service fee will be at the point of sale. This fee is only charged based on the orders' subtotal amount.

You can always remove the fee by clicking the “Remove” button next to where it says “Service Fee (4%).” Once the service fee has been removed, you will see a line drawn through it.

The transaction fee acts a little differently. This fee is charged by the credit card processing company, Stripe. The transaction fee cannot be customized and is charged based on the entire order total.
