Commercial customers are businesses you serve, like hotels, gyms, or salons. You can give them their own pricing, and bill them by invoice instead of at pickup.
Use this if you're adding a business customer, giving a business special pricing, or want to invoice a business for its orders.
Step 1: Create the commercial customer
In Cents Business Manager, go to My Stores > Customers and open the Commercial tab, then add a new customer.
Click Next and fill in the business information: name, contact details, and address.
On the Notification Settings screen, choose whether the customer gets text updates about their orders. That's it, the customer is created.
Step 2: Create a commercial pricing tier (optional)
A commercial pricing tier is a price list for specific business customers. It applies anywhere they order, online or in store, at any of your locations. You can base tiers on industry, volume, or even one customer.
Go to Admin > Products & Services > Pricing Tiers and click + to create a Commercial tier.
Name the tier (for example, Hotels) and click Next.
Choose a starting point: copy existing retail pricing from a location or tier, or start from scratch.
Set the prices. Commercial customers only see the products and services you make available here, at these prices.
Choose which services they can select when ordering pickup and delivery online.
Step 3: Mark the customer as commercial and assign the tier
Open the customer (from the tier's saved view or Customers).
Click the three-dot menu in the top right and choose Commercial Settings.
Turn on This is a commercial customer and assign the pricing tier.
Step 4: Turn on invoicing
In the customer's Commercial Settings, turn on Enable Invoicing and enter their billing details.
Set their default terms: a memo for their invoices and the payment due terms. Click Save.
Orders ready to bill show under Invoices.

Important things to know
Pricing follows this order: Membership, then Commercial, then Delivery tier, then Retail.
The default terms you set become the terms on every invoice for that customer.
