Here's what you need and how to enroll.
Apple requires each business to have its own Apple Developer account before an app can be published under your brand. Once your account is set up and you've given our app team access, we build your branded Customer App and publish it to the Apple App Store for you.
What you'll need
An Apple ID for your business with two-factor authentication turned on.
A D-U-N-S Number, a free nine-digit business identifier from Dun & Bradstreet, so Apple can verify your organization. You can check whether you already have one, or request one, on Apple's D-U-N-S lookup page. Read more here
A live website for your business.
The Apple Developer Program fee, about $99 USD per year, paid directly to Apple.
How to create your account
Go to Apple's enrollment page:
Enroll as an Organization (your business), not as an Individual.
Fill out the requested information and pay Apple's annual Developer Program fee.
Wait for Apple to approve your enrollment. This usually takes about 2 to 5 business days (sometimes longer).
Once approved, sign in to your account and accept any pending agreements. This step is easy to miss, and your app can't move forward until it's done.
Give our app team access
After your account is active:
Invite [email protected] as an Admin user on your Apple Developer account.
Send us your Apple Developer Team ID (found in your account under Membership).
Our app team will accept the invitation and take it from there to build and publish your app.
Important things to know
Enroll as an Organization, not an Individual. An individual account can't be verified the same way and will hold up your app.
Accept all pending agreements after approval, or publishing can't proceed.
The Apple Developer fee (about $99/year) is paid by you, directly to Apple.
Timeline: Apple approval is typically 2–5 business days. Once we have access and submit your app, Apple's review usually takes another 3–4 business days.
Apps can't be customized after they're built and submitted, so make sure your brand assets and details are final.
Troubleshooting
I don't have a D-U-N-S Number. Request one for free on Apple's D-U-N-S page. It can take a few days to be issued.
My enrollment is stuck "pending." Apple approval can take several business days. If it's been longer, contact Apple Developer Support.
I accidentally enrolled as an Individual. Contact Apple to switch to an Organization account; an individual account won't work for your branded app.
I invited the wrong email or role. Make sure [email protected] is added as an Admin, then let us know.
