Ready to launch your website? Follow the steps below to adjust the DNS settings with your domain registrar to ensure your domain directs visitors to your brand-new Cents website.
Once you log in to your domain registrar account (such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.), navigate to the DNS management section for the specific domain you want to update.
1. Create the CNAME Record
Host / Alias / Name:
www
Target / Destination / Value:
s.multiscreensite.com
Note: If there’s an existing CNAME record for www
, delete the old one so this new record takes effect.
2. Create the First A Record
Host / Alias / Name:
@
Target / Destination / Value:
35.172.94.1
3. Create the Second A Record
Host / Alias / Name:
@
Target / Destination / Value:
100.24.208.97
Depending on how your domain registrar’s system works, you’ll handle this step in one of two ways:
Option A: Add this second value to the same A record you just created (some registrars let you enter multiple IP addresses).
Option B: Create a new, separate A record.
3. Remove Parked Records
To assure there are no issues with the site publication, you'll also want to delete any DNS records labelled "parked" in the data column.
Once these steps are all complete, your site should go live in 24 hours once the SSL certificate for your new site is formed.
