Ready to launch your website? Follow the steps below to adjust the DNS settings with your domain registrar to ensure your domain directs visitors to your brand-new Cents website.

Once you login to your given domain registrar, you'll first need to start by navigating to the DNS management section for the specific domain in question. There, you will create the three records needed to get your site live.

First, you'll need to create a CNAME record with the following information:

  • Host/Alias/Name: www

  • Target/Destination/Value: s.multiscreensite.com

* Note: If there is a conflicting CNAME record, you'll need to delete it so the CNAME record we're creating takes precedence.

You'll then need to create an A record with the following information:

  • Host/Alias/Name: @

  • Target/Destination/Value: 35.172.94.1

Lastly, you'll need to add another value to the original A record you created or create a second A record with the following information:

  • Host/Alias/Name: @

  • Target/Destination/Value: 100.24.208.97

* Note: This discrepancy is dependent on the UX of the domain registrar. It will be clear as to whether you need to add another linked value or create a new record altogether.

To assure there are no issues with the site publication, you'll also want to delete any DNS records labelled "parked" in the data column.

Once these steps are all complete, your site should go live in 24 hours once the SSL certificate for your new site is formed.
