On non-serial machines, the Cents device can't read the vend price from the machine, so the price is set separately in Business Manager. When you change the price on the machine, update the device to match.
Use this if you changed the vend price (or, for dryers, the minutes per coin) on a non-serial washer or dryer.
Non-serial machines include: Dexter A-Series, V-Series, and N-Series washers, Alliance Centurion, MDC, and NetMaster dryers, and Electrolux Compass Pro dryers.
Important: to change the price, you unpair the device and pair it again to the same machine. This keeps the machine's turn history, coin ledger, and LiveLink QR code. Don't archive the machine, or all of that is lost.
Steps 1 to 6: Unpair and start re-pairing (washers and dryers)
In Business Manager, go to the Machines page and click the machine you want to update. A details panel slides in from the right.
In the details panel, find the Device MAC address row and click Unpair device.
Confirm by clicking OK.
You'll see Device successfully unpaired! The machine switches to Offline and the panel shows No device paired.
In the same panel, click Pair device next to the Device MAC address row to start the pairing wizard.
On the Device Type screen, select the MAC address of the device you just unpaired, then click Next.
Steps 7 and 8 for a washer
On the Configure Device screen, select the manufacturer (for example, Dexter Coin Pulse, Electrolux, or Alliance Pulse). Confirm the machine name or number, choose Washer, and click Next.
On the Set Pricing screen, choose the coin value (usually $0.25), enter the new Price per Turn, and click Save.
Steps 7 and 8 for a dryer
On the Configure Device screen, select the manufacturer (for non-serial dryers, usually Alliance Pulse or Electrolux). Confirm the machine name or number, choose Dryer, and click Next.
On the Set Pricing screen, choose the coin value ($0.25 or $1), enter the Base vend price (the cost of one coin drop) and Base vend mins (the minutes that coin drop buys). Optionally turn on a different top-off price for adding time. Click Save.
Once saved, the device is paired again to the same machine, the new pricing is active, and the turn history, coin ledger, and LiveLink QR code are kept.
Important things to know
Always update the price on the machine itself first. The device price must match the machine.
For dryers, Base vend mins is for display only. To change how much dry time a coin buys, change the dryer's own programming, then match it in Business Manager.
