Cents now supports sending order notification text messages in multiple languages — and translating message threads and call transcripts to English. This lets you communicate with customers in their preferred language and stay informed on any conversation, regardless of what language it was conducted in.
Order notification language support applies to all drop-off, pickup & delivery, membership, referral, and machine usage notifications sent through Cents.
Part 1: Enable Languages for Order Notifications
By default, order notifications are sent in English and Spanish. You can enable additional languages from the top 10 most-used languages across US software users.
To enable additional languages:
Go to Business Manager and navigate to Orders.
Open the order notification settings area and locate Language Preferences.
You'll see a list of the top 10 supported languages. Toggle on any language(s) you'd like to make available for your location.
Once enabled, the language will become available when customizing your notification message templates and for customers to select as their preferred language.
Note: English and Spanish are enabled by default and cannot be disabled.
Part 2: Customize Notification Messages by Language
Once you've enabled additional languages, you can customize the text message content for each language.
In the Orders section, open your order notification message templates.
You'll now see tabs or a language selector for each enabled language (e.g., English, Spanish, French).
Select a language and edit the message content for that language as needed.
Save your changes.
Tip: You only need to customize messages for languages where you want tailored copy. Notifications will send in the customer's selected language preference.
Part 3: How Customers Select Their Language Preference
Customers can choose their preferred notification language in two places:
On the LiveLink:
The customer opens your LiveLink and navigates to Account → Notifications.
Under Language Preference, they'll see the languages you've enabled for your location.
They select their preferred language — future order notifications will be sent in that language.
On the Employee App: Attendants can also set or update a customer's language preference directly from the Employee App when assisting a customer at the counter.
Part 4: Translate Message Threads to English
For any message thread conversation in Cents (available on Assist and Accelerate), you can translate the thread to English regardless of what language it was conducted in.
Open the message thread in your Inbox or contact view.
Look for the Translate to English button within the conversation.
Click it — the thread transcript will display in English.
Note: The original messages are not changed. Translation is a view-only overlay so you can read what was said.
Part 5: Translate Call Logs to English
If a customer called in and the conversation took place in another language (e.g., via the AI voice agent in Spanish), you can translate the call transcript to English.
Go to Contact Center → Call Logs.
Find the call you want to review.
Click Translate to English — the call transcript will display in English.
Note: The call recording audio remains in the original language. Only the written transcript is translated. Translation is available for calls handled by the AI agent.
