Before You Start
You need a subdomain — not just your root domain.
A subdomain is a prefix added to your main domain. For example:
✅
order.lavuna.co— this is a subdomain (works)✅
app.lavuna.co— this is a subdomain (works)✅
booking.lavuna.co— this is a subdomain (works)❌
lavuna.co— this is a root domain (does not work)
You can choose any prefix you like (order, app, go, booking, etc.) as long as you own the domain. If you're not sure how to create a subdomain, check with your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, etc.).
You'll also need:
Access to your domain's DNS settings (through your domain registrar or hosting provider)
The custom subdomains feature enabled on your account — contact your Cents account manager or support if you don't see the option in Business Manager
Connecting Your Domain
Log in to Business Manager
Go to your LiveLink settings
Click Manage next to your LiveLink URL
Enter your subdomain in the field (e.g.,
order.lavuna.co)Click Connect Domain
An Entri window will open — follow the on-screen steps to point your subdomain's DNS to Cents
Entri guides you through adding a CNAME record to your DNS. This is the only record you need to add. If you're comfortable in your DNS settings, you can do this manually instead.
Once your DNS is updated, click through to finish in Entri
You'll see a confirmation in Business Manager: "We're verifying your domain — your default link works until then"
Verification
Verification typically takes 5–10 minutes after your DNS is updated. During this time:
Your existing Cents link continues to work normally
Business Manager shows a Verifying status next to your domain
Once verified, your status changes to Active and all new order texts and emails will automatically use your custom domain.
Your old Cents link still works. Any links you've already shared — in Google Ads, on your website, or in past messages — will continue to work even after your custom domain is active. You don't need to update them.
Domain Status
Status | What It Means |
Verifying | DNS check in progress — usually resolves within 5–10 minutes |
Active | Your custom domain is live and in use |
Failed | Verification could not complete — see troubleshooting below |
Disconnecting Your Domain
To remove your custom domain:
Go to Business Manager → LiveLink → Manage
Click Remove
Confirm removal
Once removed, all outbound links revert to the standard Cents domain immediately.
Troubleshooting
My domain is stuck on "Verifying" for more than 15 minutes. DNS changes can take up to 24–48 hours to fully propagate in some cases, though most complete within minutes. Double-check that your CNAME record points exactly to the address provided in the Entri setup. If it's been more than an hour, contact support.
My domain shows "Failed." This usually means the CNAME record wasn't added correctly, or the DNS update hasn't taken effect yet. Re-check your DNS settings and try connecting again. If the issue persists, contact support.
I don't see the "Manage" button. The custom subdomain feature needs to be enabled on your account. Contact your Cents account manager or reach out through the support chat in Business Manager.
I entered my root domain (e.g.,
lavuna.co) and it didn't work. Root domains are not supported — you need to use a subdomain. Add a prefix to your domain (e.g.,order.lavuna.co) and try again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use any subdomain prefix? Yes — you can use any prefix you like (
order, app,go,book, etc.) as long as you own the domain and can add a CNAME record to it.Can I connect more than one domain? No — one custom subdomain per business account.
Will my existing links break? No. Your original Cents link stays active and fully functional. Any links already distributed continue to work.
Do I need to do anything after connecting my domain? No action is needed on your end once your domain shows Active. If you have a custom-branded mobile app through Cents, your account manager will handle any additional setup required on the back end.
