Placing your Samsung S8 into the antitheft stand
Turn on your Samsung S8 by pressing the power button
Insert the included key into the lock and turn to the left to unlock the front faceplate
Lift the bottom of the faceplate and slide it up to remove it
You’ll see that the USB-C cable is already threaded through the base, and secured in place via 2 cable guides indicated by the red arrow below
Plug the USB-C cable's right-angled end into the tablet and pack the cable in so that when you put the tablet in place on the corner rubber bumpers, the cable fits snug behind the tablet
When you place the Samsung S8 onto the bumpers, make sure its corners are flush against the bumpers
Put the faceplate back, with the side that has the divot, at the bottom
Lock the faceplate with the key
Assembled, it looks like this
Adjusting and locking the tilt of your Samsung S8 antitheft stand
You can adjust and lock the tilt of the stand using the included Allen wrench
The stand allows for free tilt movement out of the box
Locate the small well on the right side of the stand, where the axis of tilting is
Set the desired amount of tilt by moving the tablet enclosure
Insert the included Allen wrench into the well and tighten to lock the enclosure in place
Loosen and tighten as often as you need to
What this achieves is allowing the stand to be locked in one tilt position…
… and then changed to another tilt position
You can also tighten the well just enough so that the user can adjust the tilt without having to loosen and tighten the well
Restarting the Samsung S8 and turning it off and on
If you want to restart or turn off your tablet, you’ll need to do so from the screen, as the physical volume keys that are usually used to achieve this are covered by the case
