How To Add Tags to Customer Accounts

In this article, you will learn how to tag your customers in the Cents Accelerate Portal.

To get started, click into the “CRM” tab on the left hand side of the portal and then “Show all customers.”

Once you see your full customer list, click into the box next to the customer you would like to tag. Next, click “Tag.”

Type in the name of the tag you would like to assign to this customer, and you’re all set!

Tags can be a great way to group similar customers together and message them all at once. For example, you could tag all commercial customers and only send an outbound message to these customers with a promo code for being loyal commercial customers.

Another great example of a tag that can largely benefit your business is “VIP.” During the holidays, you may want to offer your VIP customers a thank you for their continued support. With tags, you can send all VIP customers this message that thanks them for their business and even offer them a special discount.
