Log in to Cents Business Manager, click Admin in the top navigation, then click Promotions in the left-hand menu.

Click the + icon at the top of the Promotions list.

Name your promotion: enter the code customers will use. Each code must be unique in your business.

Choose the promotion type: Percentage Discount or Fixed Price Discount, then click Next and enter the amount.

Applies to: choose the entire order or specific products and services.

Minimum requirement (optional): require a minimum order amount or number of items.

Locations: choose which stores can use the code.

Customers: allow any customer, or only specific customer groups.

Usage limits (optional): limit how many times each customer can use it.

Dates and days: set the start date, an optional end date, and the days of the week it works.

Save the promotion. It appears in your Active list.

Percentage Discount: takes a percent off, for example 20% off the order total.

Fixed Price Discount: takes a set dollar amount off, for example $10 off the order total.

The discount amount must be at least 0.01.

The start date can't be in the past, and the end date (if you set one) must be on or after the start date.

Each promotion shows how much customers have saved and how many times it's been used.

I can't save the code.
The name may already be used by another promotion, or the start date is in the past. Pick a new name or date.

A customer's code isn't working.
Check the code is active and within its dates and days, the store is selected under locations, the customer is eligible, and any minimum is met.

The discount is applying to the whole order.
Edit the promotion and choose specific products and services instead of the entire order.
