ACA machines are also known as "Quantum Gold," "MDC2," and "Galaxy 600."
Please reference the general Penny and Pulse Installation guides found below:
ALWAYS POWER DOWN MACHINES THROUGHOUT DEVICE INSTALLATION.
Required Materials
Cents device (Penny or Pulse)
Harness (30-01022 or 30-01331)
H10 Power Adapter (30-01190) Front-Load Horizon and Top-Load machines only
Purchasing the Cents Install Kit is optional but recommended.
Harness Installation Steps
Identify the empty 7-pin male header on the control board. Using the 30-01022/30-01331 harness, plug the female 7-pin connector onto this header.
Identify the male 2-pin connector that is located in a wire bundle coming off of the control board. If traced to the board, the wires from this connector will go to a connector labeled H10. Plug in the 2-pin female connector from the 30-01022/30-01331 harness into this 2-pin male connector.
NOTE small chassis front-load and top-load machines will not have this adapter pre-installed. Locate the small black female connector labeled H10 on the control board. Use the 30-01190 adapter to plug into this connector, and plug in the 2-pin female power
Connect the Penny via the 16-pin connector and test power.
Device Installation Steps
Consult the general guide for installation specifics.
Washers
Depending on machine size and owner preference, devices can be mounted in various locations. Always ensure that ergonomic requirements are met and that all responsible parties agree on the installation location before drilling.
Dryers
Single dryers have various locations suitable for device mounting. Always ensure the harness length is sufficient. Devices can be mounted on stacked dryers in two locations, shown by the red and blue squares below.
Note that Midas (touchscreen) machines should only be mounted in the locations shown by the red squares.
Device Programming
Ensure that the VLAN setup has already been performed in order to move forward with device provisioning.
Follow the generic Penny Installation guide for overall instructions on device provisioning. Shown below are machine-specific provisioning instructions for Dexter C-Series Washers.
Scan the QR code with any smartphone. A URL with the device's unique ID will be opened. You will be prompted with a login page. Use the provided login. After logging in, a provisioning page for that device will appear.
Washers

Machine Programming
ACA machines must be set to SERIAL MODE by flipping DIPSWITCH #3 to the UP position.
A small screwdriver or pocket knife will make flipping this switch easier. After flipping the switch, restart the machine to make this change permanent. If the device is not yet configured, the machine will display EC19, indicating that it has been successfully placed in SERIAL MODE and is awaiting serial communication from a card system.
