How to Intake a New Service Order

Intaking a new service order efficiently is essential for managing your workflow. Follow these steps to intake a new service order within the application:

  1. Access the Application Home Screen

    1. Begin by navigating to the home screen of the application.

  2. Select “New Service Order”

    1. Click on the “New Service Order” option to start a new service order.

  3. Choose an Existing Customer or Create a New Customer

    1. Select an existing customer from your list.

      1. Alternatively, create a new customer by entering their details.

  4. Add Service Items to the Cart

    1. Pressing on a service item will automatically add it to your cart.

    2. Use the plus (+) or minus (-) sign to edit the quantity of the service.

      1. To delete a service, press the trash bin icon under the service item.

  5. Add Dry Cleaning Services or Products

    1. Select the “Dry Cleaning” or “Products” category to open up a selection of your services.

    2. Click on each service or product to add it to your cart.

  6. Edit Preferences & Special Instructions

    1. Press “Preferences & Special Instructions” to edit the bag and hanger bundle count.

    2. Add special instructions for this order.

    3. Add or edit customer preferences, storage location, and due date.

  7. Finalize the Order

    1. Press “Pay Now” or “Charge Later” depending on your preference.

  8. Print Receipt or Bag Tag

    1. Select whether you would like to print the receipt or bag tag.

Once these steps are completed, the order has been intaken and can be located in “Active Orders” and is ready for processing.
