Printer overview
The SUNMI T3 80mm includes a built-in 80mm thermal printer with:
Auto cutter
Print speed up to 250 mm/s
Support for 80mm paper rolls
Paper roll outer diameter up to 80mm
How to load receipt paper
Open the printer compartment.
Insert a new 80mm thermal paper roll.
Make sure the paper is feeding in the correct direction.
Pull a small amount of paper out past the edge of the printer.
Close the printer cover securely.
Run a test print from the terminal or connected POS workflow.
If the receipt prints blank
This is usually caused by the paper being loaded backward. Thermal paper only prints on one side.
To fix:
Open the printer compartment.
Remove the roll.
Flip the roll orientation.
Reload and test again.
How to replace the receipt paper roll
Replace the paper roll when:
The terminal is out of paper
Receipts are becoming faint
The printer is feeding poorly because the roll is nearly empty
Steps:
Open the printer compartment.
Remove the old or empty roll.
Clear any loose scraps of paper.
Insert a new 80mm thermal roll.
Pull a short section of paper outward.
Close the cover fully.
Test print.
How to clear a paper jam
Open the printer compartment.
Remove the paper roll.
Carefully remove any torn or jammed paper from the feed path.
Reload the roll correctly.
Close the cover securely.
Test print again.
If the paper continues jamming after reload:
Check for torn scraps near the cutter
Confirm the roll is the correct width
Escalate if the cutter or feed path appears damaged
The T3 80mm printer includes an auto cutter, so recurring jams may also indicate cutter-related hardware wear or obstruction.
