Need to close up shop for a holiday, a day off, or shorter hours? Use the Store Closures feature to turn off online pickup and delivery scheduling for those dates or times. Customers placing new online orders won't see the closed dates and will be offered the next available window instead.

How to add a store closure

  1. Log in to the Cents Business Manager and go to the Locations section.

  2. Select the location you're closing.

  3. Click the three-dot menu () in the top-right corner and choose Store Closures.

  4. Click Add a Store Closure.

  5. Set up the closure: choose Full Day(s) to block the day or days entirely, or toggle on Specific Hours to block only a time range within a day (for example, closing early).

  6. Click Review to preview it.

  7. Click Save.

If orders are already scheduled during the closure

If customers already have pickups or deliveries booked during the dates or times you're closing, you'll see a conflict warning on the Review step.

  1. Review the list of conflicting orders.

  2. Acknowledge the conflict and click Save. (The closure saves either way.)

  3. Important: existing orders are not automatically moved or cancelled. You'll need to reschedule or cancel each one manually.

To manage a conflicting order, open it, choose Manage Order, then reschedule it to a new time or cancel it. The closed date won't be available when rescheduling. For the full steps, see How to Reschedule or Update an Existing Order.

Important things to know

  • Closures are set per location.

  • You can block full days or a specific range of hours within a day.

  • Closed dates and times are automatically hidden from new online orders and from rescheduling, so no manual customer messaging is needed for new bookings.

  • Existing orders during a closure are not auto-cancelled or rescheduled. Manage them manually.

Troubleshooting

  • Customers can still book a closed date. Double-check the closure was saved for the correct location and date/time, then refresh.

  • An existing order is still scheduled on a closed day. Closures don't move existing orders. Open the order and reschedule or cancel it.

  • I need to reopen a date I closed. Go back to Store Closures and edit or remove the closure.
