Laundroworks Cash Card troubleshooting steps.

In this article, you will learn best practices that will help troubleshoot issues you may encounter with your Laundroworks cash card integration. Follow the steps below to get started:

  1. The first step in ensuring you are set up for success, is to make sure your cash card reader is properly registered in the Cents Business Manager. Make sure all fields are filled out.

  1. Next, you will need to reboot the reader and make sure it is connected to the correct wifi network.

  2. Once you are ready to take a Laundroworks payment on the Cents POS, be sure you are completing the transaction on the Laundroworks card reader within 30 seconds of initiating payment. The payment request will time-out within 30 seconds and will fail.

  3. Lastly, ensure you are on the latest version of the Cents Employee App. This will ensure you experience the best performance.

If the above troubleshooting steps are not working for you, below are a few common issues with solutions that have worked in the past.

Problem: Error message: “Something went wrong” when attempting to pay with Laundroworks Cash card

Solution: This error message is tricky. In the past, we have been able to resolve this problem with the help of our engineering team. Oftentimes it’s either an issue where Laundroworks was unable to process the payment on their side, or there’s an issue on the Cents side that we will be able to resolve for you. If you see this error message, please reach out to your account manager.
