Coin collection lets you clear the coin value on machines paired to a Cents Penny and keep a record of what you collected. You can collect from one machine or many at once, from Cents Business Manager or the Cents Employee App.
Use this if you've emptied coins from your machines and want to reset their coin value and log the collection.
Before you start
Coin collection works for machines paired to a Cents Penny that have a coin balance.
In Business Manager, you need access to My Stores.
In Business Manager: collect from one machine
Click My Stores > Machines and click the machine.
Open the Coin Ledger tab to see the current coin value and past collections.
Click Reset coins. Enter the actual amount collected and any notes, then confirm.
In Business Manager: collect from several machines
On the Machines list, click the dollar sign icon.
Select the machines you collected from. No machines are selected at first. You can list them by machine number or machine type. Click Next.
Enter the collection details and notes, then click Reset coins. The coin value on each machine goes back to $0.
In the Employee App: collect from one machine
From the Home screen, tap the three-line menu and choose Machines.
Tap the washer or dryer and open the Coin Ledger tab to see the current coin value and past collections.
Tap Reset coins at the top of the coin ledger.
Enter the actual amount collected and any notes, then tap Reset coins. The coin count and value go back to 0.
In the Employee App: collect from several machines
On the Machines list, tap the dollar sign button in the top-right corner.
The Coin collection screen shows networked machines with a coin balance, all selected. Tap a checkbox to skip a machine, or tap Deselect all. You can list them by machine number or machine type, and the collection total updates as you go.
Tap Next to reset the selected machines to $0.
Coin collection reports
Collections done in the Employee App automatically email a coin collection report to the business owner.
In Business Manager, open Reports and run the Coin Collection Report to see machine type, date and time, value collected, coin count, and more.

Troubleshooting
A machine doesn't show up for collection.
Only machines paired to a Cents Penny with a coin balance are listed. Check that the machine is paired and online.The amount I collected doesn't match the coin value.
Enter the actual amount you collected when you reset. The difference is saved with the collection.The owner didn't get a report email.
Check spam, then run the Coin Collection Report in Business Manager.
