On the “Hello Start using T2s now” screen, tap the “&gt;” button

On the “Language” screen, select “English (United States)” and then tap “Next”

On the “Time Zone” screen, find your time zone and then tap “Next”

On the first “Network and Activation” screen, tap “WIFI”

On the second “Network and Activation” screen, tap the wifi network you want to connect to

Then type in the wifi network’s password and tap “Connect”

You’ll now see that the Sunmi is “Connected” to the wifi network you chose. Tap “Next”

It will then show a “Checking device status” screen

It will progress to an “Activated on…” screen. Tap “Start config”

On the “Sunmi Register” screen, tap “Skip” in the upper right-hand corner

On the “Setup is complete” screen, tap “Enter the system”

1. Tap “Settings”

2. Scroll down on the left until “Sound” and tap it
   1. Bring the “Media” and “Notification” volumes to zero (slide the dials to the left)
   2. Toggle off “Screen locking sounds” and "Touch sounds”
   3. There is no “Save” or “Submit” button to save changes; it’s automatically saved


Minimize the Settings app by tapping the circle button at the bottom-center of the screen

We ensure that your Sunmi stays up to date through our remote management system

1. This also allows us to troubleshoot remotely when necessary
2. You'll need to manually activate this on your Sunmi
3. Go to the group of apps on the Sunmi labeled “Tools” and launch the “Remote Assistance” app. Then toggle on “Unattend”


Make sure the paper is placed correctly and fed through properly

1. Pull the tab on the side of the device that you see in the picture below to open the cover
2. Place the paper into the space in the orientation you see in the picture below
3. The device will cut the paper once you close the cover


Since this is the first time your Sunmi is connecting to the internet, it can take up to 20 minutes for the Cents app to appear on the tablet

Once the Cents app appears, you're ready to start taking orders!

1. Power on the device
