In this article, you will learn how to run a machine in the Cents Employee Application.
To get started, login to your Cents Employee Application and click into the “Machines” section in the hamburger menu on the left hand side.
You will now see a list of all your machines. If the machine is online, it will display a blue status “Available.” If there is no device paired, you will see a gray dot next to “No device paired” and if the device was networked but not online you will see “Device not found” with an orange dot next to it.
Now, click into the machine that is available. From here, you will see information about this machine, such as the average self-serve revenue per day, average turns per day, price per vend, machine number, and more.
Now, to run the machine, head back into “Details” and click “Run machine.”
Next, you will need to choose if this wash is either a “Technical” or “Customer Service” wash.
Once you have chosen the type of wash you would like to run, you will be asked to fill in information regarding the reason you are running the machine. In the example below, you will need to fill in the technician name and notes for a wash.
Enter the information and proceed by clicking “Next.”
Now you will see the “Wash Settings” screen.
The washer information that displays is the current wash settings that is selected on this machine. This information has been previously set up on the backend of the machine manufacturer’s account. Each machine manufacturer may display different information on this screen.
Click “Run Machine.”
If you click into “Turns” you will see a list of every turn for this specific machine with information regarding why this machine was run. There are a few different types of services displayed here. A technical service appears when you have manually run the machine due to a technical reason. A customer service turn indicates that you had to manually run the machine for a customer, such as a free wash. A full service turn indicates that this was a wash and fold order, and a self service turn means that this customer did a self serve wash. You will see this same information displayed in the Business Manager.
If you click into the turn record from this list, you will see a more detailed breakdown of the turn information, such as the reason for the turn, type of turn, the start time, date, location, and more.
Next, to run a dryer, click “Run Machine” from the details tab of the specific machine you want to run. Please note, this functionality will only be visible to machines with the “Available” status.
