Understanding Turns & Machine Payments

This article explores the four different types of turn records your machine can have and what details set them apart from each other.

Self-Serve: Captures all turns initiated by self-service customers, whether they pay with coins, the penny device, or the scannable machine QR code. Turns where customer information is specified indicate a payment via the machine QR code sticker; otherwise, it will display as "guest."

Technical: This type of turn is generated via the "run machines" functionality within the Business Manager & Employee App, encompassing technician-run tests, troubleshooting, and other related activities.

Customer Service: This type of turn is also created using the "run machines" feature within the Business Manager & Employee App. It allows both owners and attendants to have the ability to enable machine starts for customers without cost, namely in cases where a self-service customer is unsatisfied with their wash/dry cycle.

Full Service: This turn type comprises of machines assigned to a wash and fold order via our advanced processing functionality. Clicking into it will provide comprehensive details about the order & any related turns.
