How to Message a Customer in the Stop Details Screen
When you are on a delivery route, you may need to communicate with the customer for various reasons. This could be to let them know you are running late, to ask for specific delivery instructions, or to confirm the delivery address. Whatever the reason may be, you can easily message the customer through the Stop Details Screen.
Accessing the Stop Details Screen
To access the Stop Details Screen, you will first need to be on a delivery route. Once you have selected the route you want to work on, click into the stop you want to view. This will bring you to the Stop Details Screen.
Locating the Message Icon
Once you are on the Stop Details Screen, you will see a variety of information about the stop, such as the customer's name, address, and delivery instructions. To message the customer, you will need to locate the Message icon. This icon looks like a small speech bubble and can usually be found near the top of the screen.
Sending a Message
Once you have located the Message icon, click on it to open the messaging feature. This will bring up a text box where you can type your message. You can also choose to send a pre-written message by clicking on the "Templates" button. Once you have typed your message, click "Send" to deliver it to the customer.
