How to Search or Sort Your Active and Completed Orders

The Cents Employee App lets you quickly find any order, whether it's still in progress or already done. Active orders live on the Active Orders screen, and completed orders live in Order History. Both have search and sort, and Active Orders also has filters.

Use this if you want to find a specific order fast, or organize your list by due date, customer, status, or service.

Before you start

  • You've started a session in the Cents Employee App.

  • Have the order number (for example, S-1234) or the customer's name handy. Either works for search.

Search, sort, and filter active orders

  • From the Home screen, tap Active Orders.

  • Search: tap the magnifying glass and type an order number or customer name.

  • Due today only: check Show only due today.

  • Sort: tap Sort By and choose a field, like Due Date, Order Number, Customer Name, Order Duration, Origin Store, or # of bags. Tap the up or down arrow to sort in that direction. Tap Reset to go back to the default.

  • Filter by service: tap Services Included and choose Laundry or Dry Cleaning.

  • Filter by status: tap All Statuses and select one or more statuses, like Ready for processing, Processing, or Ready for customer pickup.

Search and sort completed orders

  • Tap See Completed Orders at the top of Active Orders, or tap the menu icon (3 lines, top left) and select Order History.

  • Choose Service orders or Product sales at the top.

  • Sort: tap Sort By and choose Order Number, Customer Name, Order Duration, Origin Store, # of bags, or Payment Status.

  • Search: tap the magnifying glass and type an order number or customer name.

Troubleshooting

  • Can't find an order in Active Orders?
It may already be completed. Check Order History. Also clear any filters (Services Included, All Statuses, Show only due today), since they hide orders that don't match.

  • Search returns nothing?
Search by the full order number, including the prefix (for example, S-1234 or DS-1234), or try just the customer's first or last name.

  • Can't find a product sale?
In Order History, switch to the Product sales tab. Service orders and product sales are listed separately.

  • The list looks out of order?
A sort may still be applied. Open Sort By and tap Reset.

  • Orders from another store are showing?
Sort or check by Origin Store to see which location each order came from.
