While you take in a new order, you can record how many bags and hanger bundles the customer dropped off. Each bag and hanger bundle gets its own bag tag, so your team can keep every item together.
Use this if you want to track exactly how many bags and hanging items came in with an order. If the order already exists, see How to Add Bags or Hanger Bundles to an Active Order.
Before you start
You've started a session in the Cents Employee App.
Your label printer is connected so bag tags can print.
Steps
From the Home screen, tap New Service Order.
Select the customer (or add a new one) and tap Continue to intake.
Add the customer's services and products.
Tap Preferences & Order Notes at the top of the order builder.
Tap Bags & Hanger Bundles.
Use + and - to set the number of bags and hanger bundles.
(Optional) Add a note to a specific bag or bundle, such as "delicates".
Tap Save, then finish the order as usual. The bag and hanger bundle counts show at the top of the Order Summary, and each one prints its own bag tag.
Troubleshooting
The bag count went back to the old number?
Tap Save before leaving the Bags & Hanger Bundles screen. Changes aren't kept if you back out first.
Bag tags didn't print?
Check that your label printer is on and connected. You can reprint from the order's 3-dot menu > Printing Options.
Need to change the count after the order is created?
Open the order from Active Orders and update it there. See How to Add Bags or Hanger Bundles to an Active Order.
