How to Add Bags or Hanger Bundles to an Active Order
If a customer drops off more bags or hanging items after an order is created, or the count was entered wrong at intake, you can update the number of bags and hanger bundles on the active order in the Cents Employee App. Each bag or hanger bundle gets its own bag tag, so keeping the count accurate helps your team track every item.
Before you start
You are logged in to the Cents Employee App.
The order is still active (not completed or canceled).
Your label printer is connected if you want to print new bag tags.
Steps
From the Home screen, tap Active Orders.
Tap the magnifying glass and search for the order by order number or customer name.
Tap the order to open it, then go to Preferences & Notes.
Under Bags & Hanger Bundles, use + and - to set the correct number of bags and hanger bundles.
(Optional) Add a note to a specific bag or bundle, such as "delicates" or "customer's blue bag".
Tap Save. Each bag and hanger bundle on the order now has its own bag tag.
Troubleshooting
Can't find the order in Active Orders?
Search by the order number (for example, S-1234) or the customer's name. If it still doesn't appear, the order may already be completed. Completed orders are locked and can't be edited.
The new bag count didn't stick?
Make sure you tap Save before leaving the screen. Changes aren't kept if you back out first.
New bag tags didn't print?
Check that your label printer is on and connected. You can reprint tags from the order's 3-dot menu > Printing Options.
Need to remove a bag?
Tap - to lower the count, then tap Save. Throw away any extra printed tags so they don't get mixed up with the order.
